THE REAL STATE OF THE UNION

WE ARE IN BIG TROUBLE. WE HAVE ABANDONED GOD AS THE SOURCE OF OUR MORAL COMPASS AND FINANCIAL PROSPERITY. THE PRESIDENT WANTS TO CONTINUE ON THE PRESENT COURSE OF REPLACING FAITH IN JESUS WITH FAITH IN GOVERNMENT.

PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS A GOOD IDEA WHEN HE TALKS ABOUT WORKING OUR WAY OUT OF FINANCIAL CALAMITY THROUGH GOOD OLD AMERICAN INGENUITY. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THAT THE CREATIVITY THAT LEADS TO NEW INVENTIONS COMES FROM JESUS. GOD WANTS TO BLESS US AS HE DID IN THE PAST BUT CANNOT WHILE WE ARE KILLING PREBORN CHILDREN AND PROMOTING VALUES CONTRARY TO HIS OWN. BLESSING COMES FROM OBEDIENCE.

AS LONG AS GOVERNMENT IGNORES THE U.S.CONSTITUTION AND IT'S LIMITATIONS ON THE SCOPE AND REACH OF GOVERNMENT POWERS, WE WILL CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE TO RETAIN OUR STATUS AS A WORLD LEADER. THERE IS NOT AND NEVER WAS A RIGHT TO KILL PREBORN BABIES ENUMERATED IN THE U.S.CONSTITUTION. THERE IS NOT AND NEVER WAS A RIGHT TO PRACTICE SEXUAL PERVERSION SUCH AS HOMOSEXUALITY ENUMERATED IN THE U.S.CONSTITUTION. THE COMMERCE CLAUSE WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE A LOOPHOLE ALLOWING THE GOVERNMENT TO ASSUME ANY POWER IT DESIRES, SUCH AS GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED HEALTH CARE.

A FAITHFUL LEADER WOULD ACKNOWLEDGE OUR DEPARTURE FROM GOD'S LEADING AND CALL FOR REPENTANCE. THE BIBLE SAYS 'BLESSED IS THAT NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD.' JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

WE THE PEOPLE WILL BE WISE TO ONLY VOTE FOR CANDIDATES WHO AGREE WITH THE
ABOVE AND WILL PUBLICLY DECLARE THAT THEY DO NOT SUPPORT SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE AS CURRENTLY BEING INTERPRETED. AMERICA IS AND MUST REMAIN A CHRISTIAN NATION.

WE THE PEOPLE

Article 1, the preamble of the United States Constitution sets the spirit in which the rest of the constitution must be interpreted. It is intended to :
        form a more perfect Union
        establish justice
        insure domestic tranquility
        provide for the common defense
        promote the general welfare
        secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity

Which of these goals has Roe v. Wade accomplished ? It has certainly not brought justice to the preborn as abortion is the cold-blooded murder of a preborn child. And it has trampled on the rights of the father, without whom the fetus would not exist. It has not insured domestic tranquility as Christians are commanded by God to defend innocent life. And how is it securing the blessings of liberty to our posterity when it is killing 1/3rd of our posterity ?

Roe v. Wade has been the number one contributor to the demise of the American economy. God has a spiritual law that says you reap what you sow. We have been sowing death to the innocent and we are reaping death to the innocent. Don't have a job ? Thank Roe v. Wade. Is your son or daughter a casualty of war ? Thank Roe v. Wade.

Before the Supreme Court decides their next case, it should ask itself if that decision embodies the spirit of the preamble. The wisdom of our founding fathers should not be ignored.

Roe v. Wade must be reversed as a first step to restoring honor to America.

CAPITAL OR CAPITOL, THAT IS THE QUESTION

PRES OBAMA SEEMS TO PREFER GOVERNMENT OVER FREE ENTERPRISE. HE DOES NOT TRUST THE LATTER BECAUSE OF THE DISPARITY OF WEALTH IT PRODUCES. HE THINKS EVERYONE SHOULD SHARE WEALTH EQUALLY, MORE OR LESS. THIS IS TRULY A SOCIALISTIC MINDSET. IT SOUNDS FAIR. THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT REWARDS LAZINESS AND STIFLES CREATIVITY. IT ALSO INEVITABLY LEADS TO DICTATORIAL CONTROL BY A SELECT FEW IN GOVERNMENT WHO EXCLUDE THEMSELVES FROM THE GOAL OF EQUALITY.

WHILE IT IS TRUE THAT CAPITALISM  WORKS BEST IN A CHRISTIAN SOCIETY WHERE GREED IS RESTRAINED BY NATURE, IT STILL WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN SOCIALISM IN A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC WHERE GREED IS RESTRAINED BY LAW.

AMERICA NEEDS TO RETURN TO CAPITALISM AND RID ITSELF FROM THE TENTACLES OF GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE. LET LOCAL AUTHORITIES POLICE THE GREEDINESS THAT IS PART OF THE REAL WORLD.

What is the common thread linking these tragedies? It is a society that is distancing itself further and further from God. It is a society embracing demonic behavior and practices. It is a generation brought up by parents that don't worship the God of the Bible and don't teach their children to seek God. It is a generation  of children lacking the hope that comes from knowing that God has a purpose for their lives and wants to help each of them to have an abundant life in him.

What is the remedy? Christians must demand that the fear and knowledge of God be restored to our culture. It has been transformed into a culture of death where life is destoyed in the womb, marriages are broken for any reason and death is just the end of existence.

People need to know that God destroyed the entire population of earth except for Noah and his family because every thought of their hearts were continually wicked. People need to know that God gave Moses commandments to show them how wicked they are in not obeying them. People need to know that, in the fullness of time, God sent his only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross to pay for their sins and to save those that receive him from an eternity in hell.

Saved people, Christians, are left here on earth to preserve the culture of life until God is finished building his spiritual kingdom at which time he will remove them in the rapture. The end is near and the real church needs to press toward the goal  of going into all the world and preaching the good news that Jesus is alive and wants to save them from the wrath that is to come.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

If Jesus is Lord of your life, you will be fine because He will see you through any difficulties that come your way. If you are depending on your own strength, good luck with that. If the government is your God, you are in a world of hurt.

The government lacks wisdom from God because it does not seek it in faith. Our leaders increasingly seldom  acknowledge His existence. They have become the blind leading the blind. They are spending this country into oblivion. While they talk about reducing the debt, they continue to increase it. They have forsaken the constitution that kept us united for over 200 years. This has led to division and we all know that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

Our enemies sense our fear. They are like vultures waiting to strike. North Korea, Iran and Russia probe our defenses to see how we will respond. They know that our military is strong but want to know if our resolve to use it to defend our allies is strong. Their primary objectives are Taiwan, South Korea and Israel. We seek peace, they seek war.

Our only hope is to return to God. Not the false god called allah but to the one and only God of the Holy Bible who made us a great nation. None of our current leaders seem to sense the urgency of the moment. Most of them are politicians who will use religion to get elected and abandon it or trivialize it once in office. As was said by Paul in Acts, it is time to save yourself from this untoward generation.
